3 Charger Reviews:

  • Hyatt Regency Austin

Hyatt Regency Hotel in Austin, TX

    3 chargers for Tesla vehicles
-- but have to pay ~$26 for parking overnight even if staying at the hotel
--------- so recommend driving your Tesla to near "empty" since you will have to pay for parking, will feel better using the Hyatt's electricity to rationalize the cost of parking
--says up to 80 A but it was 56 A max for dual chargers (and I have a standard high amp dual charger and no other Tesla was parked at the chargers)

  • Denton Supercharger

    Denton, TX Supercharger

    Amazing Supercharging location--5 stars
Has everything around while you charge (fast food, sit down restaurants, shopping stores, Walmart, etc)--all within a safe walking distance with sidewalks
    Wi-Fi all around

  • Waco, TX

    Waco, Texas Supercharger

Rating: Depends on how you look at it
    1. 5-stars as ONLY supercharger available (and required to stop at) if driving from North Texas (i.e. Dallas to Austin)
    2. 2-3 stars as limited options for food/shopping
--Collins Street Bakery offers free coffee to Tesla owners, however closes at 8pm most days (7pm Sunday) so late night charging can be an issue (as no restroom or food access). Will have to alter your travel times in order to make it to the Supercharger before closing time.
--Denny's not viewable from the Supercharger, so have to walk (be careful as interstate 35 side road main access road although you could cross on Bellmeade drive)--see map above as no real sidewalks
