18 Charger Reviews:

  • Indio, CA

    Just off the Interstate 10

We were there around midnight. It was 97 degrees and windy. What a miserable place to be. At least we got away from the speeding trucks for a few minutes.

It is in a gigantic mall parking lot. The chargers are set up like those at the other stations we visited.

  • Buckeye Supercharger

10 Stalls and you can see the Cracker Barrel

We saw the first Tesla that was driving-- not just charging at a Supercharger-- the only Tesla we saw in our trip from L.A. to Richardson, Texas. It was driving into a Supercharger stall.

  • Holbrook Supercharger

Good location and easy to find

This supercharging station has 4 bays and is set up like every other one. Burger King still has a good Whopper but you'll need 3 napkins. The bathrooms were open. A man in the parking lot wanted to know all about the car.

  • Gallup Supercharger

    Good location

This one is just off the I-40. Friendly staff at the Hampton Inn. Sign in front says "Welcome Teslas."

  • Albuquerque Supercharger

    2 back-in; 4 head-in

3 are marked "Tesla Charger 45 min General Parking"

  • Tucumcari Supercharger

    8 stalls head-in.

    We were the only vehicle.

  • Amarillo Supercharger

    8 stalls back in

Behind the Holiday Inn. Just off the I-40. We were the only car. Holiday Inn has clean restrooms.

  • Weatherford Supercharger

    Behind Lucille's

Only one other S there when we pulled in-- a white Model S. Six stalls, back in.

  • Denton Supercharger

    Nose-in stalls

It is behind the PetCo. Six stalls. Two other Teslas there.

  • Ardmore Supercharger

    Six back-in stalls

Three other Model S's there-- a shock, as most outside California were deserted, on our trip from LA to Texas. Good location and not hard to find, even for us.

  • Shamrock Supercharger

    Hot, windy, and deserted

Six stalls behind the Conoco station just of the I-40. No one there on our way east and no one there today. No one anywhere on the Main Street. 97 degrees and windy.

  • Flagstaff, AZ

    Took forever to find

Nav gave right street address but wrong directions. We drove back and forth on Beulah before we stopped in the parking lot of the Olive Garden to study the Nav map.

  • Cordes Lakes Supercharger

Easy off and on the 17

Easy to find. On and off the 17 in a few minutes.

  • Wickenburg Supercharger

Excellent! They should all be just like this one!

Just perfect! In the old town. No one else here. Trees and old buildings. Really nice.

  • Quartzsite Supercharger

    Behind the Carl's Jr.

109 degrees and windy. No other Teslas.

  • Cabazon, CA

    Easy to find

10 stalls and they were nose in, so, easy to connect. Four cars there, and 3 came and went.

  • Burbank

A lot better than no chargers

We were there at midnight. Six stations, and when we arrived, 4 were in use. When we left, 5 were in use, including 2 Model Xs. Maybe 8 or 12 charging stations would be better? Or maybe it's just busy at midnight?-- but it is the 4th of July weekend.

  • Rancho Cucamonga Supercharger

    Good station

Been there twice. 12 stalls. It is easy to find. It is easy to enter, and easy to exit. There were 4 Teslas there the first time and 5 the second time. All but one of them came and went while I was charging. These stalls are a one or two minute walk from what looks like the largest shopping mall on the planet.

11 Place Reviews:

  • Cracker Barrel

    The Westernmost Cracker Barrel

Great place. We split a meatloaf plate. That, with two ice teas, was $15.

This Buckeye one is the closest one to California.

The waitress said that there will be no Cracker Barrels in California for 2 reasons: Someone in California already owns the name, and the owners don't want to pay the higher minimum wage. Minimum wage, she said, was $5.50 in Arizona.

  • Burger King

    They sponsor the Supercharging Station

Good Whopper, as ever. Iced coffee was wonderful. Bathrooms were open and not as dirty as the ones at Quartzsite.

  • Applebee's

    Good food and drinks

We had the strawberry lemonade. My wife said the server was gay.

  • K-Bob's Steakhouse

    Go for the grilled catfish

Right across the street. No breakfast. Opens at 11.

  • Lucille's Road House

    This place is a museum

Choice of 16 beers on tap. Six are Oklahoma craft beers.

  • Petco

Clean rest rooms and see the lizards

We walked around while our car was charging. Interesting cat litter boxes out now. Check out the one with the steps. Clean rest rooms. Look at the fishes too. Sad to sell them in those little containers.

  • Interurban Classic Grill

The place to go in Ardmore

One of the best on our first Tesla trip. Good coffee. Not too hot or too strong to drink. If we lived closer I'd take my wife there every few days. Shiner Bock on tap. Wait staff all young kids.

  • Big Vern's Steakhouse

    A Slice from Time

Across the main deserted street in 98 degree high wind, a Route 66 slice of time. The bar has Shiner Bock on tap. My wife and I split one and I surprised her with the peach cobbler and ice cream. Restrooms behind the bar. Friendly staff.

  • Burger King

    Better than the Carl's Jr

Not far but many semis and hot and windy

  • Carl's Jr.

Dirty restrooms. We walked over to the Burger King.

They need to clean their restrooms. The whole place was dirty.

  • Desert Hills Premium Outlets

    Good for an outlet store.

Nice outlet, my wife said. She bought a cute hat.
