Country Club Hills Supercharger

Location - not too hard to find off I-57 (3-4 minute drive), physically in the big parking lot of the Marcus Theatres.

Charging rate - very good. Followed the general rule of (125kW - battery SOC) rate.

Facilities - several stores and restaurants nearby. Panda Express and McDonald's are close by, and Applebee's and Sonic are a little further away (technically still in the same shopping center).

Overall - giving it 4 out of 5 stars for easy access off the freeway, good charging speed, and numerous food / shopping options. We arrived around 7PM and didn't feel particularly unsafe. This is on the south side of Chicago but the whole shopping center area seems decently safe.

A few good options for food. I never felt unsafe. At night, the area is well lit. There is a big movie theater. The area is not run down. This is a typical suburban location in a diverse neighborhood.

There are a few food options close by. This charger is not in the best neighborhood. I have had several friends who are familiar with area tell me not to use this charger after dark.

Some former big-box stores and strip malls are vacant with the buildings and parking lots deteriorating. I assume this is somewhat recent given satellite images showing cars in some of them so hopefully this will turn around. There are limited food options and with only a couple of exceptions they are difficult to walk to especially in winter.
