    Awesome SCs

Location - easy 2 minutes off I-94/41 in the Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets Mall. There is a DoubleTree hotel within 5 minute walk.

Charging rate - excellent! Followed the general rule of 120kW - battery SOC.

Facilities - located in the outlet mall, so obviously there are plenty of shops (and restrooms). The SpC stalls are actually a little far from the food court, however, in case you'd like some food / snack.

    Good SCs

Location - decently easy to find, about 5 minutes off I-70, in the parking lot of a very large shopping center.

Charging rate - very good. Also, it's kind of strange that this location has an odd number (5) of stalls. So does that mean the unpaired (3A) stall would never have reduced charging speed because it's never shared? There was only one other car charging when I used 3A.

Facilities - there are plenty of restaurants and shops in this shopping center.

Overall I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars. I think for this area, there should be 8 SpC stalls.

    Pretty Good SCs

Location - not too hard to find off I-57 (3-4 minute drive), physically in the big parking lot of the Marcus Theatres.

Charging rate - very good. Followed the general rule of (125kW - battery SOC) rate.

Facilities - several stores and restaurants nearby. Panda Express and McDonald's are close by, and Applebee's and Sonic are a little further away (technically still in the same shopping center).

Overall - giving it 4 out of 5 stars for easy access off the freeway, good charging speed, and numerous food / shopping options. We arrived around 7PM and didn't feel particularly unsafe. This is on the south side of Chicago but the whole shopping center area seems decently safe.

  • Perry Supercharger

    Pretty good SCs

Location - less than a minute off I-35, physically in the parking lot of the Sunmart Travel Plaza (Mobile gas station). Easy to find.

Charging rate - very good. Followed the general rule of (125kW - battery SOC) rate.

Facilities - as above, the "travel plaza" is right there, although it seems smaller and less modern than the travel plazas I've seen on major highways. There is a Subway in the travel plaza. McDonald's is about a 3-minute walk away, and there is Taco Mayo a bit further.

  • Weatherford Supercharger

    Very good SC stations

Location - easy 1 minute off I-40 in the parking lot of this diner called Lucille's Roadhouse.

Charging rate - awesome! Better than the general rule of (125kW - battery SOC) rate.

Facilities - very good. Didn't try the Lucille's Roadhouse but reviews seem good. We walked 3 minutes to the Fastlane Travel Plaza, and their family bathrooms are extremely CLEAN! There is also a Holiday Inn Express next door. For what it's worth, the Weatherford Regional Hospital is also within 5 min walk.

  • Catoosa Supercharger

    Good SCs

Location - not bad. The SCs are physically located in the parking lot of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, which is about 5 minutes off I-44. The casino even offers free shuttle to pick you up and take you to the casino, which is actually less than 5-minute walk away.

Charging rate - excellent. Followed the general rule of (125kW - battery SOC) rate.

Facilities - good. The hotel / casino, as expected, has a small food court and buffet. The bathrooms are pretty clean.

Overall - giving it 4 out of 5 stars for the convenient location, excellent charging rate, and decent accommodation (if you don't the casino set up).

Functional SuperChargers, but terrible location and accommodation

Location - as the title of this review says, terrible! It's about 5 minutes off I-44, but the SCs are physically located in the parking lot of a defunct hotel. There are no clear signs...I drove around finding it solely based on the pin on the Tesla MCU.

Charging rate - excellent. This is about the only positive thing for this SC location.

Facilities - basically non-existent. Again, the hotel that these SCs are attached to are deserted. There are no restaurants nearby unless you walk more than 10 minutes. Bathrooms? Let's just say we shamefully used the bathroom of the Marriott Residence Inn across the road (we weren't registered guests with them) because there was no other choice.

Overall - giving it 2 out of 5 stars for the location / accommodation (did I mention they are terrible?) but good charging rate. Would avoid these SCs if possible.

  • Rolla Supercharger

    So so Supercharger station

Location - not the easiest place to find. It's about 5 minutes off I-44, and you have to drive through 2 roundabouts to get there. Its physically in the parking lot of the Bandana BBQ restaurant.

Charging rate - excellent. Followed the general rule of (125kW - battery SOC) rate.

Facilities - the only food / bathroom option within reasonable walking distance is the Bandana BBQ, which itself was a pretty good restaurant. But if you are passing through at odd hours and just need a quick charge and bathroom break, well, good luck.

  • Oklahoma City Supercharger

    Very good SC stations

Location - pretty easy to find. Only about 2 minutes off I-40. The SCs are physically in the parking lot of The Outlet Shoppes of Oklahoma City.

Charging rate - excellent. Followed the general rule of (125kW - battery SOC) rate.

Facilities - close to 2 restaurants (Ted's Cafe Escondido and BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse) as well as the outlet mall stores.

  • Springfield Illinois Supercharger

    Good SuperChargers

Location - Not far off the freeway (I-72), in the Scheels parking lot.

Charging rate - Excellent! We charged at stall 4B and it maintained above 100kW most of the time until the battery SOC filled up.

Facilities - We had dinner at the Engrained Brewing Company, which has pretty good food and drink selections (bathrooms are decently clean). You'd have to walk across roads that have no designated pedestrian passage ways, though. We didn't go to Scheels, but it looks like a pretty good outdoor sporting goods store.

  • Normal Supercharger

Not an ideal SuperCharger in many aspects

Location - The SCs are located on level 3R in a parking lot of the Amtrak / transportation center. This parking lot is also about a 10-minute drive AWAY from the Interstate (I-55/74), so it's not convenient for people driving through this area and just need a quick charge. Also, even though the location shows up on the Tesla MCU, because the SCs are inside a parking structure, they are not visible from the outside, making it harder to locate. The parking lot requires you to take a ticket to enter. Even though the first hour is free, you need to pay for additional time in the parking lot, effectively reducing the charge time to less than an hour if you don't want to pay.

Charging rate - we charged at stall 2B. While the initial charge rate was above 100 kW, it quickly dropped to around 60 kW even though our batter SOC was low (<40%). From what I've read in other sources (PlugShare, TMC), all stalls at this location have reduced power.

Facilities - The bathrooms in this parking structure are very clean! The whole structure (attached to the Amtrak and local transportation center) looks new. There is a Subway in the building. There are local restaurants that are in easy walking distance.

Overall - I'm giving it 3 stars out of 5, for the inconvenient location (far off the highway, inside a paid parking lot), reduced charging rate, but excellent facilities.
